Every Suzuki Swace recall
Newest first. The concern is the part or system affected, the defect is what can go wrong, and the remedy is what the manufacturer does to put it right.
Combination Meter Reprogramming or Replacement – Early Notification
R/2025/314, launched 10 December 2025. Also covers the Across
Defect: On affected vehicles equipped with a combination meter system where various information is displayed (warning and indicator lights vehicle gauges messages etc.) due to improper programming the memory device within the combination meter can deteriorate. If this occurs the monitor will not be displayed after IG-ON and will remain in this state permanently. Driving without speedometer and any warning may result in an increased risk of an accident in certain driving conditions.
Remedy: For Across (PHEV) models check and install modified software or if necessary replace the combination meter. For Swace models install modified software.
Skid control ECU Reprogramming
R/2024/491, launched 12 January 2025
Defect: On affected vehicles when the brake pedal is applied during cornering the driver may temporarily experience a hard brake pedal with reduced braking force causing the brake stopping distance to be more than expected. This may result in an increased risk of a crash.
Remedy: Install modified software to Skid Control Electronic Control Unit.

What to do next
If you own a Suzuki Swace, check its registration on GOV.UK and ask a Suzuki dealer whether any recall work is outstanding. If you are buying one, ask the seller for proof the work was done, and run a Motoring Insider history check for finance, write-offs and the MOT history.
